Pop Up Camper Latch and Catch

By far, the most commonly purchased pop up camper part has been a new latch and catch for the fold down top. I can see why too. When we purchased our camper we had a couple latches that weren’t in very good condition. Only about half of our catch was there but she was still holding.

Set of 2 Stick on Levels

You’ve got to have good levels! I have actually seen a large level taken out and used, but stick on levels are the way to go! These are the ones we’ve seen people buying.

Electric Cable Hatch

In our experience, these hatches on the outside of older pop up campers can be very yellowed or missing pieces. It’s pretty easy for the door on an electric cable hatch to break off. It’s easy to see why this is another popular pop up camper part.

Camper Door Latch

A lot of people must have problems with their doors, get their campers without keys, or just want a little more piece of mind. A camper door latch is one of the pop up camper parts we see bought often.

T Level

If stick on levels are good to have, T levels are great to have. We see these bought often because of how easy it is to get an even more accurate measure.

Sew In Curtain Tabs

New curtains make a big difference in a pop up camper remodel. People are buying these sew in curtain tabs to make their own custom curtains for an updated look.

Inline Water Pressure Regulator

Admittedly, this is something I never thought of. Others must have, however, because inline water pressure regulators are right up there as one of the most frequently bought camper parts.

Drinking Water Hose

You always want to play it safe with your drinking water. This is a popular drinking water hose and most people are buying the 25ft length.

RV Water Filter

Speaking of water, the perfect hose is great, but a lot of people are going beyond that an also purchasing an RV Water Filter. We have never used our water for drinking, but if we had one of these we could!

City Water Flange

As mentioned above, the connections located on the outside of the camper often need to be replaced. The city water flange is another one of these. This is a popular replacement piece. From the reviews, it also appears this product with it’s brass fittings is an upgrade from the plastic pieces found on a lot of campers.

Gravity Water Dish

Considering how dry and brittle these outer connections get, it’s no surprise that the gravity water dish is also high up on the list of replaced parts. We were missing the plastic lid on our pop up camper. You can purchase just the lid on Amazon, but it looks to be more expensive that the entire dish. So, you might as well replace the whole thing for a better overall product and look.

LevelMatePRO Wireless Vehicle Leveling System

This is so cool! Ok, it may not fit under pop up camper parts exactly…. But it is way too cool not to share, and it’s at the top of the list of what people are buying from Amazon. The LevelMatePro Wireless Vehicle Leveling System allows you to level your camper from your phone! Not only that, it will assess the area and find the most level spot before you park. It will also save and recall your hitch position. This thing is amazing – imagine the time it saves!

Surge Protector

This is another quick mention for something that isn’t pop up camper parts exactly. This surge protector is a popular product because of the horror stories of others sustaining permanent damage from a bad power supply. Side note: there are many models to choose from so this may require a bit of research/knowledge especially when it comes to reading the reviews.

Screen Door Latch, Entry Door Hardware

This screen door latch is another commonly bought one. The listing describes it as fitting Coleman campers. It appears from the reviews, that it works great for a very wide variety of years.

Camper Trailer Cover

This is a good one! Keeping your camper protected will prolong the life and decrease potential problems and fixes in the future. This camper trailer cover comes in a variety of sizes. As always, it’s important to read the reviews and come to your own conclusion. I have noticed a lot of comments about the sizing and durability. However, another commenter expressed delight with how a warranty was handled 6 months later.

RV Surface Mount Tail Light

Taillights often crack, break, or leak so it’s no surprise that this tail light is a commonly bought item. This is the one people seem to be buying and the reviews are fantastic.

Twist Door Latch

These little twist door latches are easily broken. Fortunately, they are easy to replace too. The listing says Jayco Starcraft and one of the reviews says it fit their Dutchman perfectly. It’s just a small piece of plastic, so I’m going to venture it would do the trick for most campers.

Regalo My Cot

A special mention goes to the Regalo My Cot people have been buying. We had a unique way of sleeping two kids in one pop up bunk. These cots are what we used, and they are so nice to have for kids!
